The Centre for Excellence in Professional Placement Learning (CEPPL) was one of 74 nationwide ‘Centres for Excellence’, established in 2005 using HEFCE funding. Building on its expertise in Health and Social Care, CEPPL focused on the development of best practice in placement and practice learning to the benefit of students, educators (HE and practice based), and service users. This community has been designed to house resources and other outputs from the CEPPL 2005-2010, so that they can be disseminated more widely and can continue to inform future practice.
